Both new and OG Ninjas participated in the #10YearChallenge

A lot changes in 10 years!

Ninjas love to grow…grow stronger, grow smarter, grow faster. The #decadechallenge (or #10YearChallenge) that has recently popped up on Instagram is a neat way to highlight their growth.

Check out Philip Scott.

In the last decade, he has grown over a foot, developed a whole lot of muscle and top-notch Ninja skills, and overcome some major obstacles.

The Papercut Ninja, Tim Saguinsin, has made quite a transformation as well. We wonder if owning a Ninja gym and competing on a national television show was on his radar 10 years ago.

Daniel Gil’s #10YearChallenge shows us how much he has upped his hair game, as well as his human flag skills. It also demonstrates big improvements in camera phone technology!

Grant McCartney was skateboarding then and is still skateboarding now. He’s upping his style these days, and the photography is on point too.

Ten years ago, Tiana Webberley loved flying through the air just as much as she does now. She has gone from a pole vaulting high school senior to a Ninja Warrior and stunt woman. Tiana knows what she loves. She knows what she wants. And she puts in the work to achieve it.

In 2009, Allyssa Beird was a student too — a college student. After 10 years, she still spends tons of time in the classroom — just in a different capacity.

Even 10 years ago, the Brazi Bros were full of big smiles!

For Backyard Ninja Dad, Scott Behrends, Ninja is a family affair. In 2009, who would’ve thought that this young family would have a Youtube channel and a gym dedicated to Ninja Warrior, as well as the right to brag that 3 family members have completed Ninja courses on national television? Their Ninja journey began in 2016, and their Ninja accomplishments are impressive in just 3 short years!

What was Brett Sims doing 10 years ago? Ninja, of course! A baby-faced Brett was competing in season 1 a decade ago.

Only a select few Ninjas have been around since those early seasons. As they competed back then, did they think they’d still be competing a decade later? Did they ever imagine that Ninja Warrior would look the way it does now? Here are a few more awesome guys who have been participating in the sport of Ninja for a decade.

Lorin Ball had that look of confidence then, and he still has it now.

Of course The Godfather of Ninja, David Campbell, has been on the Ninja scene for a full decade.

We wonder if Ryan Stratis had the same battle cry atop the Warped Wall a decade ago.

We’re excited to see what the next decade of Ninja will bring. It just keeps getting bigger and better!
