Mike Meyers has put together a creative Thanksgiving workout

You can do these exercises with your family and they’re based around the food! American Ninja Warrior is all about discovering what you’re capable of and the community that helps you get there. One competitor decided to do something about that. All throughout season 10 of American Ninja Warrior, Mike Meyers shared “couchless commercials” exercises to keep us up and moving during the two-hour episodes. So while […]

Ninja Warrior veterans have started applying to be on season 11

Even the fan-favorites have to send in a video. Early in November, it was announced that casting for season 11 of American Ninja Warrior was open. This means that all Ninjas, aspiring or returning, need to start working on their applications if they want a shot at the course. Applying involves filling out the online form and submitting a video showcasing who they are as a person as well as their physical strengths. And when we say all Ninjas, we mean ALL Ninjas. It doesn’t matter how many times someone has been on the show, or how well they’ve done. […]

You can now Ninja on the beach thanks to Westley Silvestri

After being denied permits for his own gym, he created a pop-up version. Westley Silvestri is a two-time American Ninja Warrior competitor who doesn’t take no for an answer. After being denied permits to open his own Ninja gym seven different times, Westley came up with a pretty picture-perfect solution: Let people get their Ninja on in a stunning location right on the Pacific Ocean. He built his own obstacles and brought them down to the Original Muscle Beach in Santa Monica, CA. Every Sunday, Westley sets up his course from noon to four and encourages anyone and everyone to […]

Barclay Stockett taught me a vital lesson about expectations

In just a few words, she captured years of experience and growth. I’ve been traveling along with American Ninja Warrior since season eight. Today, I’d like to tell you a bit more about Barclay Stockett. Cooper Neill/NBC I first met Barclay Stockett in season nine, before she ran the course in San Antonio. While she’d taken part in the Oklahoma City Qualifiers during season eight, we hadn’t crossed […]
